I'd also like to point out, since I am a complete drm hater, that supporting 
open format commercially allows you to switch devices seamlessly and greatly 
enhances the number of backup options available to you.  If you buy locked down 
content, you can hardly blame the provider for not letting you in after you 
throw away your ring of keys.  If you were an irresponsible consumer and bought 
a product without understanding what it was intended to do, then don't jump 
onto a public forum and vilify the people who sold the product.  It just 
displays your own ignorance.

It's great entertainment value for the rest of us and I'm sure the asperin 
retalers local to the moderators of this list appreciate it, but other than 
that there's no practical use.
