Hey here is a tip for you. If you place the phone close to your ear you
can hear some funny noises. This indicates the phone is booting up. If
you are a hearing aid user make sure it's set to the t or the equivalent
position for hearing loops.

Hi,
Unfortunately, there's no such thing. I myself also wish there was, but
alas, we have to just press the button and pray that we've held it down long
enough.
You could plug it into the charger and reboot it, but even that doesn't give
you an exact indication of how long you've held the button down for.
A feature like that would have to be built into the next version of the
phone, since I'm pretty sure it's not something apple can add via an iOS
update.

Subject: Question about iPhone startup
I was wondering if there was an app that plays a sound when you boot your
phone? That way, we wouldn't have to wait for VoiceOver to start speaking to
know our phones are properly restarted.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
