If it is the same on both iPad and iPhone, you should be able to
go in to settings and then in to general. then go to reset and
pick reset home screen. This will alphabetise all of the apps
except for the ones that came with the device. Those ones will
just go back to where they were when you first got the device,
that is on the first and second home screens. However, if you
have put apps in to folders and you do not want to lose the
folders, then do not reset the home screen. Resetting the home
screen also makes folders disappear. All of your apps will still
be on the device, but they will no longer be in folders. They
will just appear on the home screen.

Subject: alphabetizing apps
Hello All,
My fiance wanted me to ask you if you all knew how to get the
apps in alphabetical order.
that is is there a way to do it without having to sync his iPad
with iTunes on the computer?
Many thanks.
Katey
