Right screen curtain is a feature of VO so it would be disabled

Since I now use Fleksy regularly and obviously must turn off VO, I
discovered that when VO is turned off, the Screen Curtain is turned off
as
well. I understand that the Fleksy team is working on a fix for this,
but
wanted you to know that if you like to keep your Screen Curtain On. you
will
need to turn it back on with the three finger triple click gesture.
