One thing to note is that Digit-Eyes works very well if you use it correctly, but a barcode scanner will always be quite a lot faster. So, if you don't want to take up to a minute or three to get an item identified, then go for the Quest. If you go with Digit-Eyes, remember to place the camera on or very close to the item, then slowly pull back so the auto-focus can kick in. You also have to get good at knowing about where the barcode is located on the item. A barcode scanner does not need to focus and can scan significantly faster. If you have the $1300 to spend on the Quest, spend $20 on Digit-EYES to see if it meets your needs f/) Just my opinion, Richard
