It may help to narrow the search if you get Siri to open the programme for
you then, on closing it, look what page you are on. On that page,
somewhere, perhaps obscured from your finger view, will be that icon. Move
your finger slowly as you look and also try flicking across the screen which
may give you an idea where it is. It could be that it is in fact inside
another folder. Mine was when it happened to me.
Don't despair, I've had it happen to me and I did eventually find it!

Hello
I downloaded downcast and somehow it got put into a folder. I took it out of
there and was trying to move it to another page but it disappeared. It still
shows in Settings and I can go to my sister's purchase page and see it
marked "open" which happened after I downloaded and installed it from her
family sharing page. It will open from there, but there is no icon on my
home pages and no way obvious to reinstall the program. I want that icon
back. Any suggestions?
