hi, given financial constraints, I would like to say this:if you are someone who is well practised at aiming the camera,if you are someone who is used to OCR apps and getting good results,then, Prizmo, certainly, gives the KNFB reader a run For its money!but it is a little more fussy to use and doesn't have the same guidance that the KN FB reader has.textGrabber is also a brilliant app! And it has the added attraction of being really very cheap!indeed, particularly with envelopes or upsidedown text et cetera,I often flick from KNFB reader to one of the above two and get good results!however, I did already owned these two apps so it costs me nothing more to do this.One thing is certain though, the KNFB reader has enabled many many more people to get passible if not excellent results, whereas, before, they simply didn't.so, turning to the original question "is it worth it?"you hath to know yourself and your own capabilities to answer this one.if you are not an experienced iPhone/OCR user,then, I think, it is worth it especially at this new half price.
