Mary,

We don't really know why they added the confirmation. It may very well be that 
they received a ton of feedback from people asking to have a confirmation. This 
is not accessibility related so who knows.

Thanks for the feedback link. I will go there and leave my opinion. It wasn't 
that way in the previous OS, and I never had a problem, and I never heard of 
others I know having a problem. So I think they tried to fix something that did 
not need fixing. At least, we should be able to turn it off. Anyway, thanks for 
the link.
