I went to settings and privacy, no mention of the knfb reader in photo permissions. So I took the app off and re installed it. Still no where do I see it asking me permission to use the camera.
All it did once loaded was tell me where to go read the documents.

Patti,
If you want to give or change permissions, go into settings, privacy,
and then camera. You will then find a list of apps that have requested
to use the camera recently, and you can double tap to turn each app
on/off. You should find KNFB Reader in that list and can double tap to
turn it on if it was off.

Good luck,
Wayne

But it didn't ask me questions about permission to use things. I was
expecting that and that didn't happen.
Thanks everyone.

Patti,

Don't give up on it. It's a great app. If worse comes to worse, just
delete it from your phone and download it again. Pay attention to the
first time you run it and make sure not to miss the original questions
about you allowing it to use things. I have used it on a 4S and a 5S
and its great on both. The only difference I found is that the 4S
takes about 5 seconds before it reads you the text and the 5S takes
about 2 seconds.

Keep trying!

By the way, you won't be charged again.
