I think the original question was answered in the first few responses. In fact, Jonathan's answer below doesn't touch on the original question, which as the subject states, has to do with the iPad and not the iPhone.

Conversations are going to drift a bit, and I think that's OK and should be expected on the list. We're all just iPhone users after all and not paid technical support staff. Seems like this list is getting a little impatient with people trying to answer questions and help out as best as they can.

Many thanks, I do appreciate someone finally answering the original
question. I don't reboot often, so hadn't noticed the vibrate in that
context.
An old Nokia I still have, does, and always has, vibrated on boot
regardless, one of its better features. I think it would be a useful
addition for iDevices that can.

Hi all, just to clear up this confusion, all iPhones vibrate at startup, but
only if they're plugged into a power source. When on battery, they don't
vibrate at startup.

And, you are right, the iPhone vibrates on start up by default you don't
have to have that turned on but you can turn on vibrate for different
apps.

I have been in there, there is no such setting for vibrate on boot. On
ring
and On silent, that is all.

The vibration is set up on they settings under sounds where you can have
it
vibrate to come on or not it's just like any other settings you can
choose
what there's different patterns for the vibrations also but it's in
settings
so you can have it to vibrate come on if he had if the phone is muted it
will vibrate when it turns on so it's just all in the settings in and out
they all acted like the iPhone the iPad iPod doll turn on the same

First I've heard about any iOs device vibrating when it starts up; so

give a definitive answer, but would be interested to read one.

Hi all, and thank you so much again for the help. I would rather ask
then
take a chance, so my question is once the vibration of the iPad mini is
heard then does that mean that the start up is completed and I can
triple
click home to turn voiceover on at that time? God bless, Wren Langley
