Hi

If iTunes 12.1 had never been installed, is it still necessary to uninstall the 
earlier version of iTunes before installing the fix?

I am using the 64bit version of Windows. I followed the procedures in this post 
and it works. I did not have ITunes 12.1 installed before this so can't compare 
though.
