You will only need the version for older video cards if you are running the 64 
bit version of Windows 7 or 8, apparently there is no problem if you are using 
a 32 bit version

Cher is right, if you're running an older version of iTunes, such as 
12.01 then you won't need a patch. If you install iTunes 12.1 for the 
first time on your PC then yes you will need a patch.
