Sorry, I meant the iOS Control Center. You access it by touching the Status Bar at the top of the screen, and then flicking up with three fingers. The info about the book is not the only thing on the screen that comes up. On my iPod, it is about midway down. After you have looked at the info, do a two finger scrub to close the Control Center.
In order to access the Control Center from within an app, you might have to go into the iOS settings and then Control Center and set "Access within apps" to on.
