on apps remembering details like that.

  As I understand it, a standard backup will back up everything on your device, 
except sensitive information. An encrypted backup will back up everything, no 
matter what. Essentially, then, restoring an encrypted backup will restore wifi 
passwords, app logins, and other personal details; a standard backup will 
restore the apps and data, but you'll have to sign back into everything. I 
imagine I'm missing pieces, but that's the basic idea.
