Thanks to everyone who made suggestions. For some reason, our HD TV doesn’t have audio out jacks other than the Digital Audio out.
So, after looking at the different converter boxes and reading reviews, I’ve just ordered the FiiO D3 DAC. It is $23.99 with free shipping. I ordered it through Amazon, but a third party company sells it and they don’t charge shipping. I should have it in about a week.
