Hi Richard, I totally agree with you that the band should be adjustable. I happen to have the right size head so there is no problem there but, the fact that they have to be correctly placed in front of your ear, there should be room for adjustment. Of course, if your head is a bit small, you can push the band up higher and they stay in place quite well.
