Hi Keith, If you check the box, iTunes puts each artist in a folder. Within that, each album is in a folder, and each track on the album is numbered. If you have a mix CD with multiple artists, you can either give all the tracks the same album artist, or declare the album a compilation. If it's a compilation, the album will be placed in a Compilations folder. If you choose an album artist, the album will be in that artist's folder. I have this check box checked and find it useful, but if you have your own system for organizing your music, you may want to uncheck it.
