Hi,
There's a problem with accessing gmail on iOS devices. Google is aware of it, but doesn't know when a solution will be found. I can no longer access my email on my phone, as I keep getting the prompt saying that I need to check the settings for the imap server. Our I T person told me that we use the SMTP.gmail.com as our outgoing email server. It shows this in my gmail settings on hte iphone, but I continue receiving the imap prompt. I wonder if I need to restore the phone or something? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I already have gmail being sent to my computer using pop3 for Outlook Express. It looks like, while setting this up, the iphone wants me to use IMAP. Can this be done? I can't seem to set it up here. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
