I'm using an IPhone 5s and don't have that issue with the Echo app. It does take almost 30 seconds for the next screen to come up. You can also use the web site to make your changes which is a lot easier. Just got the echo a few days ago and love it. It is a work in progress and I look forward to seeing where it goes.
