Hello, I just tried this on my iPhone 4S, running the latest version of IOS 5, and it worked. I received an e-mail with the contact as an attachment. I didn't do anything special. I just double tapped the share button in the persons contact, select e-mail, typed in my e-mail address and pressed send.
