Yes, it'll work just fine. I'd suggest you wait, though, as rumors continue to swirl of an iPhone 6C. A budget model with the smaller screen of the 5/fS phones, but that will have far better internals and possibly Touch ID and Apple Pay. That would be worth waiting for, and upgrading to it would let you keep your screen.
