OK,thenI guess Andrew must have been looking in the wrong spot. If you read this, Andrew, make sure you go into Voiceover settings and then Speech and not the Speech option in the main accessibility settings. Once you are there you can either add US English as another language which allows you to leave Samanthas as the default dialect and you can select/download either male or female SIRI once you added US English and then use the rotor to go to Language and change it on the fly.
