I can't get the siri voices to work for VO on my 5. It let's me select them, but even after they download they still won't talk. It still uses Samantha voice. Oh well.

And I tried both Siri voices and was very unhappy, because of the really long pauses between sentences and lines. But just recently, I bit the bullet and upgraded my 5S, which will soon be replaced with a 6S, whenever T-Mobile gets them in ships one out to me. Since my favorite female voice is not available for reading Kindle books on the iPhone, and since they have screwed it up on the android version of Kendall, where you get unnatural pauses between lines with that same voice, Kendra, I tried the Siri female voice. And I think I'm going to really try to live with it. It is certainly better than Samantha. So for those of you who don't care for Samantha, and have something faster than the four ss, give it a try.
