I don't have windows, just heard it. I am used to eloquence, and the old
keynote voice. Strangely, though, when I played with a first generation stream,
on that, Samantha handled the punctuation marks better, in my opinion.

Which speech synthesizer are you using on Windows?
If you are also using Eloquence there, then it could be you are so used to the
way Eloquence speaks that you have not gotten used to the other voices.

punctuated messages more clear on windows, or note takers, for that matter..

I just read both your message and Alex Hall's message in this thread at 80% and
85% using the American Female Siri voice and the pauses for commas were very

it? Or do you just eventually get used to it?
PS. When I say increased, I mean something like 80%, and its too quick.
Otherwise,, too slow. And I do get a headache from slow speech rates.
