Can you have the same gmail account on 2 phones; a friend is trying to add
the gmail account to a new phone and is told he cannot access it even though
the correct credentials are supplied.

I haven't noticed this problem with Gmail on any of my devices. Since
upgrading to IOS 9, if I have the Mail app running and I shutdown my
phone, when I bring it back up, I'll get an unable to connect message in
the Mail app. If I close the Mail app and reopen it, the message goes
away. This may not be what you're seeing, but to me, it seems like an
issue with the Mail app in IOS 9.
