Sure makes me glad that when I decided which service to go with I chose Hotmail or, to use its current and probably final name, Outlook.com. Especially now that the web interface also has become very accessible, I feel that Exchange aCtive Sync works much better than IMAP. The native mail app supports it beautifully, push email works and while I read lots of messages where people have issues with gmail, I rarely see any discussion at all about Outlook.com.

I have the account on both phones. I did restore from that previous backup, by the way, am using IMAP and have had some of the problems with GMAIL that others have recently experienced, which I don't put down to having the account on two phones. I also have the account on my computer and Braille Sense. I do get quite a lot of repeats though and am working on trying to eliminate those, so any good ideas welcome. <Smiles> Carol P On 21/10/2015 13:18, Paul Ferrara wrote: > Can you have the same gmail account on 2 phones; a friend is trying to > add the gmail account to a new phone and is told he cannot access it > even though the correct credentials are supplied. > > Paul > > -----Original Message----- From: Christopher Chaltain > Sent: Tuesday, October 20, 2015 10:17 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: problem with gmail > > I haven't noticed this problem with Gmail on any of my devices.
