Hi All, I want to give my iPhone 4s to my step-daughter whose phone got destroyed. The thing is, I am with Verizon and she is with Sprint. I thought I could call Verizon and get an unlock code which would permit her to activate the phone with Sprint. However, someone told her (it may have been someone from sprint) that they won't allow her to activate an unlocked phone older than an iPhone 5.
I have no experience with sprint or with passing along an old iPhone and I'm wondering if this is true. Can anybody shed some light on this issue?
