Hello,
Once you have a podcast running there is a button that says Effects.
When you activate this button a popup comes up giveing you the speed
options. The first one is called smart speed make sure this is on. In
this popup there is also a setting for playback speed you can adjust.

For some reason Overcast will not download a podcast if you are on celluar
data. They will only download if you are on WiFi. As for the other question I
cannot remember right off the top of my head what it is. I will look at the app
here in a while to find it. I don't have my phone with me right at this moment.
