Another reason why I’m partial to Sally or even iOS Samantha even though I
actually do like James is that the first two voices for whatever reason read a
book faster than James can. This despite my only able to listen to James at the
480 WPM count and sally and Samantha maxed out at 700. Once I get James past
the 500 WPM, it becomes gibberish to my ear and I can’t follow along or at
least well enough to retain what I’m hearing.

Who knows if the numbers are even accurate, but the difference among reading
time with the various voices is substantial.

Hey Ari. You kinda got me curious. What female voice do you like in Voice
Dream? The only two voices I can think of that are not so deep or "seductive"
are Acapela Tracy or Lucy. But I'd like to get your input. I don't think Sharon
is that deep sounding but I agree with you that her breathiness can get
annoying. As for James, I don't find him muffled at all. Also keep in mind that
the Neospeech voices are 16 KHZ while voices from Ivona and Acapela are the
better quality 22 KHZ. Why Neospeech doesn't use 22 KHZ I don't know, but
that's why you probably think it's muffled.
