Hi Chris, What I am trying to find is actually the way for a forced recovery mode. The link you gave me has instruction for a normal restore. It did not work. It simply said it could not verify my iPad. I remember that Jonathan and few others put some instructions to do forced recovery, or perhaps they called it something else, although it allowed for the recovery of the device when it stops responding.
