This isn't necessarily the case. If you do a two finger swipe up to start reading from the top of the screen and then you start flicking right, you could double tap anywhere on the screen when you hear the object you want to activate but you'd have no idea where on the screen that object is.

I never use 3D Touch. Of course its all new and we need to get used to
it. My biggest problem with it in terms of time saving is concerned is
you have to put your finger on the exact location of the app you want to
perform the 3D action on. Personnally I swipe alot to get to the desired
app and then double tapping somewhere on the screen to open. So by the
time I find the exact location of some apps, I already opened it with
swiping and double tapping anywhere on the screen.

No doubt more and better usage of 3D Touch will come.

    Hi Kevin,

It is new and something to learn/get used to. I am not sure what you
mean by “it’s not discoverable”, but I find it easy to check if 3D
Touch options are available and have gotten quite comfortable using
it in certain situations. For example, using it with the App Store
app if I want to search for an app. Instead of double tapping on the
app, then double tapping on the search tab at the bottom and then
finding the search edit field at the top left and double tapping on
it to put focus in it and bring up the keyboard, I just press down
on the App Store icon on the home screen, do a quick swipe right
(that puts me on the “Search” option in the menu, then I do a quick
double tap and bingo, focus is already in the search box with the
keyboard on the screen waiting for me to type my search term.

Another example is the Phone app. If I want to call my wife, my
office or my manager on his mobile, I just press down on the phone
app, swipe a couple of times and double tap on one of the 3 names
that are part of the context menu (they are the first 3 in your
Favorites list). Another app with useful functions in the context
    menu is the Camera app.

These are just a few examples, I’m sure in time Apple will figure
out more ways to make this useful and as far as it being natural or
not probably depends on you. Eventually everything becomes muscle
memory and we have to keep in mind that 3D Touch for sighted people
has many more applications which we as blind users may not be able
    to use.

    Sieghard

3D touch isn't that useful. It's not discoverable and there is no
hint of where it can be used or where it works.

it's not really natural, and most of the time: i end up just
interacting with it as if 3D touch were not even present...It ends
    up being faster.

Exactly, I am sure iFixIt will have all the hidden secrets out
in no time. But there are still a lot of iPhone 5/5C and even 4S and
4 out there and for these customers this will be a very nice
upgrade as a free phone on contract or for what I consider not an
unreasonable price unlocked. I remember somebody recently
advertised a used 5S on the list in the UK and I think he was
        asking 300
Pounds, probably not too realistic given the price of the iPhone
SE. I also still have my 5S 64 Gb which I was planning to sell,
probably should have done so before this came out.

Well, I assume you don’t understand Dutch, so giving you the
link to the article won’t benefit you. The article was published
        today
on a well respected Dutch Apple news site called:iCulture.nl
        <http://iculture.nl/><http://iculture.nl <http://iculture.nl/>>
. Unfortunately they don’t mention any sources
from which they got the detailed information. They only refer to
a person who made the list, or something. the link to this person
        is to Twitter.

Another feature the SE misses is the barometric sensor (dont
know the exact English translation), which measures differences in
height and vertical movements like on stairs.

Dont believe my word for it, time will tell right.

        Hi,

There are more differences. The SE has 1st generation touch id
while the 6s has 2nd gen, and since I use the 6s’s touch id daily,
the 2nd gen isn’t perfect bij a long shot.

The SE’s front camera is much worse than 6s, a 1.2mp instead of
a 5mp one. The main-camera is also 12mp, but the SE uses a somewhat
older sensor. High-speed data transfer lacks some minor
frequencies and last but not least it is probably safe to say
        the SE runs at
a lower cpu clock speed than the 6s to maintain good battery
usage, since the battery is quite a bit smaller.
