The 5S's are around £150 or less on the trade lists. 4S are well below £100 as a starter phone. Folks still sell old Nokias with Talks on even now. I still have some.
The SE is about the one I'd buy new, or the 6+ 2nd hand. mrsH got one of those for under £300 from somewhere, new, all be it oldish stock. Buti ntact with warrantee. Another feature the SE misses is the barometric sensor (dont know the exact English translation), which measures differences in height and vertical movements like on stairs.
