I am so delighted to let you know that, as of today's update, the iOS
native Twitter app now supports Twitter Moments via VoiceOver. To
begin enjoying this extremely exciting new feature of Twitter, on your iOS
device:
1.
Update to the latest version of Twitter.
2.
Select the Moments tab located on the bottom row of the display.
Be certain to explore the entire screen as the Moments area has a
slightly different layout than the rest of the Twitter app.
Also, I am happy to report that every aspect of Moments is accessible
via the app's soft-buttons and by specific VoiceOver gestures
including the 3-finger swipe left, to move through a specific thread,
and the single-finger hold, and swipe up gesture, in order to quickly
close a thread and be returned to the main app. Also, Moments video
playback works flawlessly. Just remember that in order to hear the
video, you must unmute the sound via a soft-button located near the
upper left corner of the display.
Give yourself plenty of time to explore this new quick and easy way to
stay up-to-date on what's happening around the world.
Finally, please join me in thanking the developers of Twitter for
making Moments VoiceOver accessible by sending a tweet to either
@support or @twitter, or by sending an email to [email protected] or
by posting a comment in the app-review area of iTunes.
