Hi List, I posted a week or two ago that I had spent some fairly serious money ($200 Canadian) for a Plantronics Backbeat Sense bluetooh stero headset. I bought it from Amazon and it arrived fairly quickly and I have used it off and on for about a week or 10 days now. To sum it up, I am returning the headset tomorrow, I already initiated the return on the Amazon.ca website and printed the return shipping label. The main reason why I am not keeping it is the aweful lag with Voiceover. This is a fairly newly released Bluetooth 4.0 device and the delay is horrible. Voiceover doesn't even keep up if I swipe quickly across the icons on the home screen and typing anything is just a pain in the neck. Apart from that I really like the headset, it is very comfortable, battery life is good and the sound quality is impressive for a Bluetooth headset. It also has nice controls and I like the feature that it senses if you take it off and it automatically pauses playback, but that lag is a total deal-breaker. In addition to that it sometimes seems to randomly disconnect even if my iPhone is only a few feet away. So it's going back and I'll use the money and then some to buy a new Festool cordless drill, at least I know that with that I am getting the best there is.
