I really love MonthCal. It is easy and clean.

Subject: Re: A Good Calendar App

Another thing I like about Fantastical 2 is the increased alert times.
The native calendar lets you set alerts for an appointment at 5, 15 and 30
minutes before, along with one or two hours before, and a week before.
Fantastical also gives you 10 minutes, 45 minutes, even 6 or
12 hours before. The 12 hours before alert has come in handy for me when
reminding myself of a doctor's appointment and that I had to fast overnight.
Another big advantage is the ease of going to a specific date. From what I have
found, there is not a way to go to a specific date in the native calendar,
other than going through the months/years and physically locating the date. In
Fantastical, I can search for a specific date, which also is handy with doctor
appointments that may be several months in the future. I started using
Fantastical around 2 years ago and haven't regretted the purchase one bit.
