Hi Keith, yes I know they're there are those apps that say always. I just authorized one, a GPS app I am beta testing. In the explanation for what "always" means, they say it refers to when the app is running in the background. So, if the app is closed out of the app switcher, really closed, it shouldn't be needing services. Or so that explanation implied to me anyway. Mary
