The iPhone 5 battery issue was well documented and publicized, I never heard about an issue with iPhone 6S or 6S Plus batteries having an issue where a certain range of serial numbers of phones are effected.

They had that program offering to replace the battery for free because some of them were defective, and luckily, mine qualified. I wonder if some of these 6s batteries are defective?
