Krister, KNFB Reader is the best app of its kind right now. Don't give up. It takes practice but it works wonderfully well. First, practice with a standard letter size page Line it up with the edge of your desk or table. Place your elbows on each side of the page and hold your phone with both hands making sure you don't put your finger in front of the camera. Have the back camera in about the middle of the page and lift it to about 10 inches above the page. Your natural position at this point should be quite close to what you want.
A little practice will get you there.
