Krister, I find something that helps a lot is to brace the phone against my chin when doing both the field of view report and when taking the actual picture. My two biggest problems are holding the phone steady, (something which bracing the phone against my chin helps with a lot) and turning the phone in small enough increments that I don't seriously inpact the alignment. It takes very tiny movements to turn a few degrees. The smaller the movement, the better. I hope some of this can help you a little to get better results with the app.
