Not acceptable, really, this is ridiculous.  I just renewed my service after a 
couple of months when I did not realize it was not working, if they don't 
institute a fix soon I will discontinue it again, it isn't like I can't find 
loads of reading/listening material.

Yes it sucks and the company is aware of the problem.
You have to let a tech guy with audible take over your computer remotely to get 
anything downloaded until it is fixed.
