Hello Ari,

While I have been following this thread, I only now attempted to perform a
search in the native iOS Calendar app.

The search worked perfectly. In fact, after reading this thread, I was
expecting it not to work.

I suspect that your problem may have something to do with either (1) the length
of time you keep your appointments in your Calendar and/or (2), the view from
which you launch the search.

Just so you know, I performed my search while in the list view. This is the
simplest view in which each event in the Calendar is listed on it's own line.

Also, I have my Calendar set to sync as far back in the past as it will allow.
I believe it's something like two years or so.

All I did to perform the search was to tap the Search button near the upper
right corner of the display. Then I typed in a character string such as,
surgery. It was not necessary to hit a search button for as I typed, the
matching items auto-populated the results table.

Can you try to recreate my scenario and let us know what happens?

Mark

I was trying with one word at a time, not with multiple words. When I say I
used multiple words, I meant that I tried one word, got no results, then tried
another word, and also got no results. I may try Fantastical.

Thanks,
Ari
