Hello, The time in the past that you are able to search with the calendar is dependent on how far in the past you actually have synced on your phone. So the reason you are not able to find what you are looking for might be because it is not actually still on your phone. When I checked my settings, my calendar is synced 1 month back, and this might be the default because I do not remember changing it.
To sync all past events to your phone, go to: Settings / Mail Contacts and calendars. Swipe down to the Calendar section, then swipe until you hear, sync, and then a time frame like 1 month back, 3 months back, or so on. Just double tap this to change this setting. Just choose the time frame you want to keep on your phone, and one of the choices is all events. The reason for this setting is to help conserve space on your device, and because most people do not need to search past events. But in the end, it is a personal preference. I hope this solves your searching delimma. Chris > On Aug 19, 2016, at 1:37 PM, [email protected] wrote: > > I was trying with one word at a time, not with multiple words.
