Hi,

Sorry, I can't agree with the below statement. In all my years of using an iPhone, since the 3GS days, I have never seen an app behave differently on one phone as opposed to another if they are running the same iOS version.

Cheers,

Brett.

It's a bit drastic, but if that's your main phone, so it obviously gets more use, you may consider restoring the phone form scratch. This sometimes can work.

Yes, I've checked it all. Absolutely the only problem I'm having is with the 3rd party part of the app. Of course, it shows up in the keyboards list and I can bring it up anytime, but keeping it there is impossible! Right now I'm using the one on my 6S and it's working like a charm! But the SE is my primary phone and the one I would really like it to work on so I don't have to worry about having a keyboard with me when I'm out and about. Thanks for suggestions.

So, by restoring, you double checked in the settings, general, keyboard and made sure it had full access, right?

I just wanted to make sure you had actually checked the settings.

If you did and the settings are correct, then perhaps you need to talk directly with Apple Accessibility support.

I can only imagine how frustrating this is.

Hi Richard and Carol,

Thanks for getting back to me. Each time I reinstall the app, I go to shop and restore purchases, which gives me access to everything as I purchased the full package. And it restores with no problem. However, no matter what I'm doing...texting, writing a note, or working with email...the results are the same. The rest of the MBraille app works just fine. As for the 3rd party keyboard, it will let me begin typing but I never know for how long. Sometimes it's a few characters and sometimes I can get a few words. Suddenly without warning it is gone, taking what I have written with it. I have no idea why this keyboard seems to be incompatible with my SE!

OK. I don't have an answer but will give it a little more thought for
you if you can think about when it's crashed. In what apps were you
working at the time? Were you trying to transfer information at that
stage? Anything else you can say may help me, or others, to find an
answer for you.

Cheers.

Hi all,

I am having a problem with the MBraille 3rd party keyboard crashing on my iPhone SE. It does just fine on my 6S. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it numerous times on the SE to no avail. I am running the latest version of the MBraille app and the latest version of IOS. I have written to the MBraille list but haven't heard anything from them yet. Just thought I'd check to see if anyone here had any suggestions. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give me! I'm not having any other crashes on my SE, and the MBraille keyboard doesn't crash on my other phone. Hmmm.
