The customer base determines that. When I purchased my first cell phone in 1994 it was like a brick. Over the years they shrunk to be absolutely tiny. But as the capability of these devices increased, there became a need to display more content on the screen. Android users are very used to large devices. In fact, the newest version of Android will allow you to run two apps simultaneously, with each occupying half the screen. i thought the form factor of the iPhone 5 and 5S was perfect for me, but I adjusted to the iPhone 6, but would not want anything larger. Personally, I wish that Apple would devote as much energy to increasing battery life as it does to adding features that many could care less about.

I still question why the size keeps enlarging? When I upgraded the last time, I looked at the 6 and 6+, which, I felt was like carrying a tablet around. That may well be important for sighted consumers, but I am tired of trying of carrying these huge things around. I need something which fits in a pocket without falling out or in a small purse. I need decent sound and some ability to connect with my hearing aids. This all means I am still interested in the SE. Having a nice camera on board would be nice for when I want to hand my phone to someone to take a picture, though since my sister and sister-in-law are the shutter bug historians for our family, it is not totally necessary for me. With the sizes as they now are, I may as well pack my Surface around. I like a great deal of what Apple has done with this product and for their attention to our needs with Voiceover and commend them for these products. I need Siri to become more accurate, though, it has improved immensely from its beginning and anticipate continued improvement. The camera concerns me only in as much as I depend upon KNFB reader, and the best quality of camera we can have may be important to its performance. I figure the SE may be better than the camera on the 6. Lastly, I think the reason the size of the 6 also bothers me is, because I have small hands, and I find the larger size harder to hold at times, especially when using the KNFB Reader. I find it difficult to both hold the iPhone and double tap to take the picture. Ok, I am off my cantankerous soap box now. Just my thoughts since for me earphone jack or not isn’t the largest issue. Relax and enjoy the weekend. As my great grandmother used to say, it will all come out in the “worsh”. She was Irish and wash came out sounding like worsh.
