I have the 6+ and while I like the large screen for typing, I don't find it
portable. I like a phone that will fit my pocket or purse nicely.

All models of the 7 series are going to have improved battery life, so you
are not forced into the largest model; also, all models are to have two
cameras for photo zoom.
I have a 6s+, and think it is too large; I would carry a backup battery
charger and buy the smaller phone if I could, especially with the 7 series
where the battery life of even the standard size is improved.
