Hello Marissa,

You might want to go to an Apple Store if you have one nearby since you
should definitely not loose your WiFi connection when the phone goes in
sleep mode. I never had that issue with either my iPhone 4 or 4S. I assume
it could be the router's fault, but it could also be a faulty WiFi radio in
which case they probably replace your phone.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: RE: Wifi issues continue

Hi all,

To the person who asked if i have re-installed ios 5 with a clean install ,
yes i have. Nope did not work. I guess its just some security feature
implemented by apple that when the phone goes into "sleep mode" wifi
connection just drops? I am giving up as the router won't get replaced
until it does not allow for any device to connect.

Any other thoughts or suggestions?

Marissa
