My 6 plus bricked during the regular update.  On another list, I saw where 
someone had the same problem, apparently it's a bug in 10.  He made sure he had 
the newest version of iTunes on his computer, then plugged his phone into the 
computer.

iTunes opened up, the process was actually pretty intuitive.  It restored my 
phone and downloaded and installed the update.  It was an incredibly quick 
process, especially considering the size of the download.

Apparently from reading The iPhone 10 Without The Eye, it said that updating 
using iTunes was faster and easier than doing it just on the phone.
