That's interesting. when I ran beta on iOS8 we got iOS9 before the non-beta users. Is that not the same with iOS10? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Turner" <[email protected]>

Actually, the last beta was the release candidate 10.0.1, same as the release version. On my iPod Touch 6th gen, that I used for beta testing, I installed the release candidate on Friday and checking for software updates tells me I am up to date and the version numbers match.

HTH,
Richard

No if you have the 10.01, you're good. The last beta was 10.7. If you
get anything else it will be security fixes.

Thanks Gordon but do I need to upgrade to the public release of today using the method of holding the power button and home button down to restore

That's the gold master that went out last Friday. It's the final release unless they had to fix any last minute bugs over the weekend. So you have the final version that everyone else got today.

Hey all,

Ok this is weird as I have not updated my phone as I was running the beta on my old device and it was turned off over night. I turned it on to update to the public release which I know you have to do through iTunes when moving over from the beta but my phone under about says it is running 10.0.1 nothing about any beta. I read that Apple could automatically move you from the beta to the public release but how could this happen if the phone was off, and how do I know if 10.0.1 is a beta or the public release as it sounds like that is the public release. Thanks,
