Handoff can be found in Settings/General, and the fitness stuff can be found in Settings/Privacy. Something to check and turn off as well might be the suggested apps feature. It's based on location services, if I understand the little explanation thing after the setting toggle, so could possibly drain battery as well. You can find that setting in the Handoff settings area"
