The original question came from someone who was happy with the Kindle app and 
was looking to find out if there were advantages to purchasing a Kindle device. 
I can't see any in terms of reading kindle books, unless you particularly like 
the voices that are offered on fire. Or maybe you just like to mess with 
gadgets. And that $40 tablet is cheap. The speaker is awful. And it's on the 
back. But it works. And for $40 on sale, you can't complain. I am disappointed 
that Amazon has chosen not to offer all of the Ivona voices, which they own, 
for download for use with their devices. I wonder why they haven't done so. I 
wrote to their excess ability department, and got no response. No surprise.
